It is true that bankruptcy is the most disappointing situation a person can ever experience in his or her life as it puts a red mark on the credit report for the next seven to ten years.
But sometimes bankruptcy is the best option for the person to file for. There are some brighter sides of bankruptcy. The first brighter side of bankruptcy is that if you are able to file it, the threatening phone calls from the creditor’s side will come to an end only when you inform about it to them. By Federal law, the calls will be stopped from the creditors. There will be a situation when any of your creditors will call you up, in that cases as well tell them that you have filed for bankruptcy. Moreover, write down the name, address and call time of the creditor so that whenever they call up the very next time again you can file a case against him.
Another brighter side to bankruptcy is that after filing for bankruptcy you can again start with a clean board. It is tough to get new loans such as personal loan, car loan, mortgage, or anything. If you have filed for bankruptcy under the Chapter 7, then you will have to prove that you cannot pay any part of your outstanding debts as it will erase your slate clearly.
